60 V, 2 A Schottky in a SOD-128 body
The ROHM RBR2LAM60BTR is a 60 V, 2 A Schottky barrier rectifier housed in the SOD-128 PMDTM surface-mount package. It is specified for fast recovery — ≤500 ns at >200 mA — which places it in the switching rectifier class, not a generic 50/60 Hz line rectifier. Forward voltage is 520 mV typical at the full 2 A rated current, keeping conduction losses modest for a 2 A part. Reverse leakage at 60 V is 150 µA, which rises with junction temperature — budget the thermal path accordingly.
Package and mounting
The SOD-128 (PMDTM) is a small outline package with a single cathode tab on the top face — orientation is unambiguous. It reflows well with a standard hot-air profile; the thermal pad on the cathode needs a solid copper land on the PCB to pull heat from the junction. No hidden leads under the body, so visual inspection after reflow is straightforward. Junction temperature is rated to 150°C max — the SOD-128 body is small, so the board copper area does the heavy lifting for thermal management. Keep the cathode trace wide enough to act as a heatsink.
Lifecycle and compliance
ROHS3 compliant per the listing, so it clears EU and similar regulatory gates without a waiver.
