Product details

1.2V threshold, active-high watchdog

The ROHM BD70H12G-2CTR is a single-channel voltage detector with a 1.2V threshold, designed to monitor a supply rail and assert a reset signal when the voltage dips below that level. The active-high reset output is open-drain, so it pulls low when the monitored voltage is above threshold and releases to high-impedance on a fault — the external pull-up resistor sets the logic-high level. The reset timeout is a minimum of 20 µs, meaning the output holds the reset state for at least that duration after the supply recovers, giving the downstream logic time to stabilize before re-enabling the system. Operating across -40°C to +125°C, it covers the full industrial temperature envelope — suitable for engine-bay electronics, industrial controllers, and outdoor telecom gear where the ambient can swing beyond the commercial range.

The supplier device package is 5-SSOP, which is the same mechanical outline as SOT-753. The open-drain output means the pull-up resistor is external, giving the designer control over the logic-high voltage independent of the detector's supply.
