What the 0–25°C range means for the BOM
The ZMOD4450AI1V is a Renesas air quality sensor with an I²C digital output and a rated accuracy of 2%. Its operating temperature band is 0°C to 25°C — this is a controlled-environment part, not a general-purpose indoor sensor that sees seasonal swings near a window or an unconditioned warehouse. If the end product lives inside a climate-controlled room (office air handler, lab monitor, server room), the narrow range is fine. If it ships into a garage, attic, or outdoor kiosk, the sensor will drift out of spec below freezing or above 25°C.
Supply rail and I²C bus integration
That means the I²C bus pull-up resistors must be referenced to the same 1.7 V rail, or a level translator is needed between the sensor and a 3.3 V host MCU. The 0.50 mm pitch LGA package (3.00 x 3.00 x 0.70 mm) requires a solder stencil with aperture matching the pad geometry; the exposed centre pad should be connected to the ground plane for thermal management.
