2A LDO for noise-sensitive rails
The RAA214023GNP#HC0 is a 2A low-dropout linear regulator from Renesas, part of the RAA2140xx family, designed to deliver a clean, adjustable supply rail from 0.8V up to 3.95V with a maximum input of 5.5V. Its PSRR of 84dB at 120Hz drops to 52dB at 1MHz, meaning it rejects line-frequency ripple well but lets high-frequency switching noise from a downstream converter pass through — pair it with a post-LDO filter if your load is sensitive above 1MHz.
Dropout and headroom
Quiescent current is 300µA typical, a reasonable overhead for a 2A LDO; the Enable and Power Good control features let the system shut down the regulator when the load is idle, cutting Iq entirely.
Protection and temperature grade
Built-in protection covers Over Current, Over Temperature, Short Circuit, and Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO) — the regulator survives output shorts and thermal runaway without external clamping.
