RA6M5 at 200 MHz — what the core delivers
The Renesas R7FA6M5BG2CBG#AC0 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M33 microcontroller from the RA6M5 series, clocked at 200 MHz. That Cortex-M33 core brings single-cycle multiply, hardware divide, and a memory protection unit — enough headroom for a real-time control loop with a TCP/IP stack running alongside. Program memory is 1.5 MB of Flash; data space is 512 KB of SRAM backed by 8 KB of dedicated EEPROM, so configuration parameters survive a firmware update without an external serial EEPROM. The peripheral set is built for connected industrial nodes: Ethernet MAC, two CAN FD channels, USB (host/device), QSPI for external Flash or PSRAM expansion, and enough serial channels (SCI, SPI, I²C, SSI) to talk to a dozen sensors or actuators. 132 GPIOs in the 176-LFBGA package give board designers room to route a parallel LCD or an external bus interface without multiplexing every pin.
Supply range and temperature grade
Operates on a single 2.7 V to 3.6 V supply. The -40°C to 85°C industrial temperature range covers factory-floor enclosures, outdoor telecom cabinets, and HVAC panels.
