RL78/F15 — 16-bit MCU for body control and motor drive
The Renesas R5F113TGLFB#H5 is a 16-bit RL78/F15 series microcontroller built around the RL78 CPU core, running at 32 MHz. The part is designed for automotive body-control modules, industrial motor drives, and any application that needs a mix of CAN and LIN connectivity alongside a rich set of analog peripherals — 33-channel 10-bit SAR ADC and a single 8-bit DAC.
The 2.7 V supply rail is a single-supply design, so no separate I/O or analog rail is needed; just a clean 2.7 V source and the usual decoupling.
Peripheral set and connectivity
The 33-channel ADC covers multi-phase current sensing or a bank of analog inputs without external muxing. The single 8-bit DAC handles a setpoint or trim voltage.
