RS-232 transceiver for industrial serial links
The ICL3221EIVZ-T7A: It operates from a 3V to 5.5V supply, so it can run directly off a 3.3V or 5V rail without an extra regulator — one less part on the BOM. Data rate is 250 kbps. The 500 mV receiver hysteresis filters noise on long cable runs.
The 0.173-inch (4.40 mm) width is standard for TSSOP-16. For prototype runs, the cut-tape option avoids minimum reel quantities.
ROHS3 compliant — no exemptions that would complicate EU or California market shipments.
