The HZ7.5CP-E: ROHS3 compliant, which covers the latest RoHS exemption list — no regulatory gap for EU-bound BOMs.
What the zener voltage tells you — and what it doesn't
This is a Zener diode, a two-terminal shunt regulator that clamps voltage at its rated breakdown point. The order code HZ7.5CP-E encodes a nominal zener voltage of 7.5 V — the '7.5' in the part number is the regulation voltage, not a test condition. In a typical shunt regulator or overvoltage clamp, that 7.5 V is the voltage the diode holds across it when reverse-biased into breakdown, within the tolerance band defined by the suffix.
not tape-and-reel. That suits low-volume builds, prototype runs, or MRO replenishment where a full reel would overstock the shelf. For automated pick-and-place, a tape-and-reel variant of the same die would be needed — confirm the packaging code if your line is reel-fed.
