4 Mbit SPI DataFlash — supply range and throughput
The AT45DB041E-SHN2B-T is a 4 Mbit serial flash from Renesas's DataFlash family, organized as 256-byte pages across 2048 pages. It communicates over a standard SPI bus at up to 85 MHz, which in quad-I/O mode delivers roughly 34 MB/s read throughput — fast enough to copy a firmware image to RAM on power-up without stalling the processor.
Page-write speed and buffer architecture
A page write completes in 8 µs typical, and a page erase in 3 ms. The on-chip SRAM buffer lets you load the next page while the previous one is being written to the array — useful for data-logging or parameter-storage applications where the MCU cannot stall for milliseconds.
The part is supplied on Tape & Reel for automated pick-and-place, with Cut Tape options available for prototype or low-volume builds.
