32-bit bus transceiver for wide data-path designs
The 74LVCH32245ABFG is a 32-bit non-inverting transceiver from Renesas' 74LVCH series, organized as four 8-bit elements with independent direction controls per byte lane. Each channel sinks or sources 24 mA, giving enough drive for moderate backplane or memory-bus loads without external buffers. The 3-state outputs let multiple transceivers share a common data bus — the OE pin per element puts the outputs into high-impedance when the byte lane is not selected.
Package and board integration
Housed in a 96-ball CABGA (13.5 x 5.5 mm), the fine-pitch BGA demands a multi-layer PCB for fan-out — the ball map aligns with standard 0.5 mm pitch routing rules. Supplied in tray format, typical for BGA devices in production — the tray protects the balls during handling and is compatible with pick-and-place feeders that accept JEDEC trays.
