4-channel 1:2 mux/demux in 16-TSSOP
The 74CBTLV3257PGG from Renesas is a 4 x 1:2 multiplexer/demultiplexer — four independent circuits, each selecting one of two inputs to a common output, or splitting a common input to one of two outputs. Housed in a 16-lead TSSOP with a 4.40 mm body width, the part mounts on the board surface and occupies a compact footprint — the narrow pitch (0.65 mm typical for TSSOP-16) keeps the routing density high on mixed-signal boards where analog and digital signals share the same layer.
Supply range and switching logic
Because the supply also serves as the reference for the switch's on-resistance flatness, the signal swing tracks the rail — a 3.3V supply passes a 0 to 3.3V analog or digital signal with minimal attenuation through the FET switch channel. Each of the four independent circuits is a 1:2 selector — one common port connects to one of two I/O ports based on the select pin state. The independent circuits let the device handle four separate signal paths simultaneously, useful for bus isolation, signal routing, or analog multiplexing in data-acquisition front ends. The wide temp grade also covers the thermal rise from adjacent power components in a dense layout.
Active production and compliance
The TSSOP package uses a matte-tin finish on the leads, compatible with lead-free reflow profiles per JEDEC J-STD-020.
