Automotive-grade TVS for 48 V rail clamping
It carries AEC-Q101 automotive qualification, making it suitable for 48 V DC power rails, sensor supply lines, and battery-protection circuits in passenger-vehicle and commercial-vehicle electronics.
Minimum breakdown voltage is 53.2 V, with a typical standoff of 47.8 V — the margin between standoff and breakdown is 5.4 V, which gives the protected line headroom during normal operation while still triggering clamping before damage occurs. Capacitance at 1 MHz is 365 pF, which is low enough for moderate-speed signal lines but too high for high-frequency data buses like CAN FD or 100BASE-T1 without additional filtering.
Confirm the package (DO-214AA SMB) and polarity (unidirectional) match your PCB layout before committing.
