Zener TVS for 12V automotive rail protection
The P6SMB10AT3: AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive electronic modules that must survive load-dump and inductive kickback on 12V supply rails.
Breakdown voltage and clamping performance
Minimum breakdown voltage is 9.5V, with the reverse standoff (working voltage) at 8.55V. The clamping voltage is capped at 14.5V when the device conducts 41A of peak pulse current under the standard 10/1000µs test waveform. This clamping margin keeps the protected rail below the absolute maximum ratings of typical 12V-rated ICs and modules.
Automotive-grade package and temperature range
Housed in a SMB surface-mount package, the P6SMB10AT3 operates across -65°C to 150°C junction temperature. The SMB footprint is common and reflow-solderable with standard lead-free profiles. AEC-Q101 qualification includes HTRB, temperature cycling, and humidity bias.
