8-TSSOP footprint and board-fit
The MC100EPT24DTG comes in an 8-TSSOP package (3.00 mm width, 0.118" pitch) — the same footprint as 8-MSOP, so the land pattern is shared across both package variants. Surface-mount assembly; the narrow body keeps the signal path short for the differential LVPECL output.
Signal translation path: LVCMOS/LVTTL in, LVPECL out
This is a unidirectional, single-channel translator: it takes LVCMOS or LVTTL input levels and outputs a differential LVPECL signal. The differential output is the key — it drives twisted-pair or controlled-impedance traces with common-mode noise rejection, which matters when the LVPECL receiver is several inches away on the board.
Temperature grade and operating range
The translation thresholds and output swing stay within datasheet limits across this range; no derating needed for the LVPECL output swing at temperature extremes.
