The HCPL0700: That wide CTR range means the part can drive logic inputs with low LED drive current, but the gain variation across units must be accounted for in the threshold design. Switching is moderate: turn-on typ 1 µs, turn-off typ 7 µs. Output is rated 60 mA continuous per channel with a maximum output voltage of 7 V. The 8-SOIC (0.154-inch body width) surface-mount package is common and mates with standard SOIC-8 footprints.
