5 MHz open-collector optocoupler for industrial isolation
The H11N1SM is an onsemi single-channel optocoupler with an open-collector output, rated for 5 MHz data rate and 4170 Vrms isolation. It operates from a 4 V to 15 V supply and delivers up to 50 mA per channel. The 7.5 ns rise and 12 ns fall times keep signal edges clean for digital bus isolation in motor drives and PLC interfaces.
Parametric fit for digital isolation
With a maximum propagation delay of 330 ns (both tpLH and tpHL), the H11N1SM suits applications where timing margins are not critical below 3 MHz. The 1.4 V typical forward voltage and 30 mA max forward current align with standard 5 V logic drive. The open-collector output pulls to ground through an external resistor, making it compatible with TTL or CMOS inputs on the secondary side.
