Digital isolation with open-collector output

The onsemi H11L1SM is a single-channel optoisolator that converts a DC input through a 4170Vrms isolation barrier into a logic-compatible open-collector output. The 1MHz data rate and 4µs max propagation delay (tpLH/tpHL) set the timing budget for the downstream receiver — the output rise/fall time of 100ns typ means the edge rate is fast enough to drive a 50mA load without excessive switching loss.

Forward voltage (Vf) is 1.2V typ at 30mA max DC forward current.
