The onsemi H11D3M is a single-channel optoisolator in a 6-DIP through-hole package, combining a DC-input LED with a phototransistor output that brings the base terminal out to a separate pin. Rated for 4170Vrms isolation, it provides galvanic separation between the input and output circuits — enough for basic safety isolation in industrial control or power-supply feedback loops where the output side floats above the primary ground. The output transistor is specified for up to 200V collector-emitter voltage and 100mA continuous current, with a typical turn-on and turn-off time of 5µs each — fast enough for 100 kHz switching signals but not for high-speed data links.
