Isolation barrier and switching parametrics
Rated for 5300 Vrms isolation — this is the test voltage between input LED and output phototransistor, sufficient for reinforced isolation in mains-referenced circuits where the working voltage stays within the creepage of a 6-DIP package. Minimum current transfer ratio of 30% at 10 mA forward current means the output transistor sinks at least 3 mA with 10 mA into the LED — this sets the minimum load resistor for a logic-level interface. Typical turn-on and turn-off times of 2 µs each place the H11A5300 in the medium-speed optocoupler class — suitable for 100 kHz-ish switching or slower serial data, but not for high-speed digital isolation above a few Mbps.
Package and temperature grade
The supplier device package is listed as 6-DIP. Rated for -55°C to +100°C operating ambient — the full industrial/military temperature band, so the optoisolator holds its CTR and switching speed across the range without derating.
