Isolation and switching profile
The H11A3SR2VM: Its 7500Vpk isolation rating suits applications requiring reinforced isolation between a low-voltage control side and a higher-voltage load side, such as in industrial PLC I/O modules or power-supply feedback loops. Typical turn-on and turn-off times are 2 µs each, which supports moderate-speed switching up to about 250 kHz — adequate for relay drivers, logic-level interfaces, and isolated data sampling where sub-microsecond edge rates are not required. The minimum current transfer ratio is 20% at 10 mA forward current, meaning the output transistor can sink at least 2 mA when the LED is driven with 10 mA. This CTR floor ensures the opto can drive a standard TTL or CMOS gate input without additional gain stages.
Package and temperature grade
Supplied in a 6-SMD gull-wing package (6-SMD), the H11A3SR2VM is intended for surface-mount assembly. The gull-wing leads provide a visible solder joint for inspection and are compatible with reflow profiles typical for mixed-technology boards. Rated for operation from -40°C to 100°C, the device covers industrial temperature ranges — suitable for outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor enclosures, and HVAC controllers where ambient temperatures can swing widely.
