Isolation barrier and switching performance
The H11A3FM delivers 7500Vpk isolation between input and output — a rating that suits medical patient-contact interfaces and industrial motor-drive feedback where galvanic separation must survive transient surges without breakdown. Typical turn-on and turn-off times of 2µs each support switching frequencies up to roughly 100kHz — fast enough for isolated gate-drive signals or digital isolator replacement in non-critical paths.
The Gull Wing leads provide visual solder-joint inspection access, unlike J-bend or leadless packages. Operating temperature spans -40°C to 100°C, covering industrial enclosures and outdoor telecom cabinets without active cooling. Maximum forward current is 60 mA DC; the typical forward voltage of 1.18V means a 330Ω series resistor from a 5V rail limits LED current to about 11.6 mA, staying well within the CTR test condition of 10 mA.
onsemi lists the H11A3FM as Obsolete. No official successor or cross-reference is recorded — the part is no longer manufactured and is available only through independent surplus or broker channels. Sourced to order against an RFQ — quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at quote time. No stock-holding claim is made; availability is verified per inquiry.
