Isolation and switching parametrics
The H11A33SD: This single-channel optoisolator provides 5300Vrms of galvanic isolation between a DC input and a transistor-with-base output — enough to separate control and power domains in industrial equipment, motor drives, or PLC I/O modules where ground loops or voltage transients would otherwise damage the logic side. Minimum current transfer ratio (CTR) is 20% at 10 mA forward current, meaning the output transistor can sink at least 2 mA when the LED is driven at 10 mA — a typical threshold for driving a downstream logic gate or relay coil. Typical turn-on and turn-off times are 2 µs each, so the part switches at roughly 250 kHz — fast enough for serial data isolation, PWM feedback, or digital signal isolation in a control loop.
Supplied in a 6-SMD gull-wing package (6-SMD, Gull Wing) on Tape & Reel, surface-mount to the PCB.
