The CNY17F33S is a single-channel transistor-output optocoupler from onsemi's CNY17 series, packaged in a 6-SMD gull wing format supplied in tubes. Rated for 5300 Vrms isolation, it provides galvanic separation between a DC input and a 70 V, 50 mA transistor output — suitable for logic-level interfacing, PLC I/O isolation, and motor-drive feedback paths.
Switching performance and temperature range
Typical turn-on time is 2 µs and turn-off time is 3 µs, with rise and fall times of 1 µs and 2 µs respectively — fast enough for 10-20 kHz switching in isolated gate drive or serial data isolation applications. Vce saturation is 300 mV maximum at the rated output current, keeping the voltage drop across the output transistor low enough to maintain logic-level compatibility at the receiving end.
For sustainment programs that already qualify this optocoupler, the part is sourced through independent distribution channels against an RFQ.
