2MP 1080p sensor for security and surveillance
The onsemi AR0237CSSC12SPRA0-DR is a 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor with a 1920H x 1080V active pixel array, delivering 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. The 3µm x 3µm pixel size gives this sensor a larger photodiode area than a 2µm design, which directly improves low-light sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio — the pixel well capacity sets the dynamic range floor for the scene.
Supply rail and temperature envelope
Operating from a single 1.8 V supply rail, the sensor integrates into low-power camera modules without a separate analog supply — the 1.8 V core keeps the digital switching noise coupled into the pixel array below the read noise floor when the PCB layout follows the reference design. The -30°C to 85°C temperature range covers outdoor surveillance cameras, traffic enforcement systems, and industrial machine vision enclosures where the internal ambient can reach 70°C with solar loading.
