1MP global-shutter sensor for machine vision
The onsemi AR0144CSSM20SUKA0-CPBR is a 1-megapixel CMOS image sensor with a 1/4-inch optical format, built for applications that need a global-shutter readout without motion artifacts. The 1280H x 800V active pixel array at a 3µm x 3µm pixel pitch gives it a roughly 4:3 aspect ratio — a natural fit for industrial inspection, barcode scanning, and embedded vision systems where the sensor sits behind a standard C/CS-mount lens.
60 fps at full resolution — what that means for the pipeline
At 60 frames per second with a 1MP array, the sensor outputs roughly 77 million pixels per second. This sets the minimum throughput for the downstream ISP or FPGA — a parallel or MIPI CSI-2 interface must sustain that data rate without frame drops. The 60 fps ceiling also bounds the exposure window: at maximum frame rate the integration time per frame is about 16.6 ms, which limits low-light sensitivity unless the pixel gain is raised or an external illuminator is strobed.
