1.0 MP global-shutter CMOS imager for machine vision
The onsemi AR0144CSSC00SUKA0-CPBR is a 1/4-inch format CMOS image sensor with a 1280H x 800 V active pixel array, delivering 1.0 megapixel resolution at 60 frames per second. Each pixel measures 3 µm x 3 µm, a balance between sensitivity and resolution that suits industrial inspection, barcode reading, and surveillance cameras where motion blur must be minimized. The global-shutter architecture captures the entire frame simultaneously — no rolling-shutter artifacts on fast-moving targets, which is the deciding factor for conveyor-line or pick-and-place vision systems.
Frame rate and pixel architecture
At full 1280 x 800 resolution the sensor runs 60 fps, giving a 16.7 ms exposure window per frame — enough headroom for strobed LED illumination in typical factory automation cycles. The 3 µm pixel pitch defines the modulation transfer function (MTF) roll-off; for a lens with f/2.8 aperture the diffraction-limited spot size is roughly 3.8 µm, so the pixel is well matched to the optical cutoff without over-sampling.
Active lifecycle and supply posture
Supplied in tray packaging, the part is suited for prototype runs and low-to-mid volume assembly without reel-tape minimums.
