1.2 MP global-shutter CMOS imager
The onsemi AR0134CSSM00SUEA0-DRBR is a 1/3-inch CMOS digital image sensor with a 1280H x 960V active pixel array — 1.2 megapixels in a 4:3 format. It integrates an on-chip processor, so the output is a processed digital stream rather than raw analog pixel data, simplifying the downstream interface. Runs at 54 frames per second at full resolution, which is fast enough for industrial machine-vision lines running at moderate throughput or for surveillance cameras that need smooth motion capture without dropping to VGA. The 3.75 µm x 3.75 µm pixel size is relatively large for a 1.2 MP sensor — it collects more photons per pixel than a smaller-pitch design, giving better low-light sensitivity and dynamic range in security or factory-floor lighting conditions.
Operates from a 1.7 V core supply, a single low-voltage rail that aligns with modern SoC and FPGA I/O banks without needing a separate 3.3 V regulator for the sensor core. Rated for -30°C to 70°C ambient temperature — the cold end covers outdoor surveillance in freezing climates and unheated enclosures, while the top end handles the interior of a sealed camera housing on a warm production floor.
