Breakdown voltage starts at 37.1V minimum, clamping at 53.9V maximum at the peak pulse current, with a 33.3V reverse standoff. The standoff voltage is the DC rail the part sits across without conducting; the clamp voltage is where the TVS forces the surge current to ground. The gap between them — roughly 20V — is the protection window the load must survive.
