Transient suppressor for 214V DC rails
The 1.5KE250AG is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from onsemi's Mosorb™ series, designed to clamp transients on DC rails up to 214V continuous (reverse standoff) with a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform). In a typical 214V bus application, the device breaks down at 237V minimum and clamps at 344V maximum, shunting 5A of surge current away from the load.
