Transient suppressor for 214V DC rails
The 1.5KE250AG is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from onsemi's Mosorb™ series, designed to clamp transients on DC rails up to 214V continuous (reverse standoff) with a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform). In a typical 214V bus application, the device breaks down at 237V minimum and clamps at 344V maximum, shunting 5A of surge current away from the load. The wide operating temperature range of -65°C to 175°C makes it suitable for outdoor, industrial, or under-hood environments where thermal cycling is a concern.
