CAN transceiver for high-temperature automotive and industrial buses
The NXP TJA1043TKY is a half-duplex CAN transceiver supporting data rates up to 5 Mbps, suitable for CAN FD networks. It integrates one driver and one receiver in a 14-HVSON (3x4.5 mm) package, with a supply range of 4.5 V to 5.5 V. The operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C qualifies it for under-hood automotive electronics, industrial motor drives, and other high-ambient environments where standard commercial-grade transceivers would not survive.
5 Mbps CAN FD readiness and bus timing margin
Rated for 5 Mbps, the TJA1043TKY handles the faster bit timing of CAN FD without compromising bus signal integrity. The 120 mV receiver hysteresis provides noise immunity on the differential bus, reducing the chance of false bit detection in electrically noisy environments such as automotive power trains or factory floor cabling.
