Pressure sensing range and output scaling
The MPXHZ6115A6T1 measures absolute pressure from 2.18 PSI to 16.68 PSI (15 kPa to 115 kPa), covering standard barometric and low-pressure applications like altimetry or air-flow monitoring. The analog output scales linearly from 0.2 V at the minimum pressure to 4.7 V at the maximum, giving a span of 4.5 V across the full range. This makes the sensor suitable for engine-bay or industrial enclosures where ambient temperature swings are wide.
Supply and interface requirements
The analog voltage output eliminates the need for an external signal conditioner — the 0.2 V to 4.7 V swing maps directly to the ADC reference range with headroom at both rails. The no-port style means the pressure inlet is the package itself — the die is exposed to the media through a gel coating, so the board-level seal at the package footprint is the only barrier.
