PMIC for i.MX6 — 12-rail sequencing in a single QFN
The MMPF0100NPAZESR2 is a 12-output power management IC from NXP, purpose-built to supply the i.MX6 application processor family. It integrates all the core, I/O, memory, and peripheral rails into one 56-VFQFN package with an exposed pad for thermal dissipation. Input voltage spans 2.8 V to 4.5 V, covering single-cell Li-ion and 3.3 V regulated rails. The multiple output voltages are factory-programmable or configured via I2C, eliminating external LDOs and discrete sequencers.
Automotive temperature range and AEC-Q100 qualification
Rated for -40 °C to 105 °C ambient, this PMIC covers automotive cabin and under-hood environments where the electronics must survive cold cranking and hot soak. The AEC-Q100 qualification means the part has passed the stress tests (HTOL, ESD, latch-up, temperature cycling) required for production vehicle programs. The 56-QFN package uses a wettable flank terminal finish — the side pads are exposed so automated optical inspection (AOI) can verify solder joint quality after reflow, a standard requirement in automotive SMT lines.
Active lifecycle and compliance documentation
This part is suitable for both new designs and ongoing production. The PMIC is supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) packaging, compatible with standard pick-and-place equipment. Sourced through authorized and independent distribution; lead time and volume pricing are confirmed at RFQ.
