The MKV10Z32VLF7 runs the ARM Cortex-M0+ core at 75 MHz — fast enough to execute a field-oriented control (FOC) loop for a small BLDC motor with headroom for commutation and fault handling. The 32 KB Flash and 8 KB SRAM are modest; budget the firmware image and stack carefully if you are adding a real-time OS or a communication stack.
The 40 GPIOs include the 16-channel 12-bit ADC and the single 12-bit DAC — enough analog front-end for current-sense and voltage-feedback in a single-shunt or dual-shunt inverter design.
