Tri-core radar processor with 240 MHz ceiling
The NXP FS32R274KSK2MMM is a 32-bit tri-core MCU from the S32R series, purpose-built for automotive radar and sensor fusion. Its dual e200z7 cores run at 240 MHz while the e200z4 core runs at 180 MHz, giving asymmetric multiprocessing headroom for radar front-end signal processing and the application stack on separate cores. On-chip memory totals 2 MB flash, 1.5 MB RAM, and 64 KB EEPROM — enough code and data space for a mid-range radar algorithm without external memory. The 16-channel 12-bit SAR ADC plus 4-channel sigma-delta ADC and one 12-bit DAC handle IF sampling and sensor conditioning on the same die.

The FS32R274KSK2MMM integrates CANbus, Ethernet, FlexRay, I²C, LINbus, SPI, and ZipWire — covering both in-vehicle backbone links (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and sensor-level serial buses (SPI, I²C, LIN). The 257-LFBGA package (14x14 mm) with 0.80 mm ball pitch demands a 4-layer PCB for fan-out of the inner rows.
