Crossover MCU for real-time edge control
The NXP MIMXRT1176AVM8A is a crossover MCU from the i.MX RT1170 series, built around an ARM Cortex-M7 core running at 800 MHz. It integrates 2M x 8 SRAM on-chip, enough to buffer Ethernet packets and run real-time control loops without external memory.
The 800 MHz Cortex-M7 core runs at the highest speed grade in the RT1170 series. The 2M x 8 SRAM supports double-buffered Ethernet frames and a real-time OS heap without external SDRAM.
Package and integration
