The NXP LPC54606J512ET100E is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 single-core MCU running at 180 MHz, with 512 KB Flash, 200 KB RAM, and 16 KB EEPROM on-chip. It integrates Ethernet, CANbus, USB, I²C, SPI, and UART interfaces, plus a 12-channel 12-bit ADC, all in a 100-TFBGA (9x9 mm) package rated for -40°C to 105°C operation on a 1.71 V to 3.6 V supply. The 180 MHz core speed gives this part enough headroom to run a real-time control loop alongside an Ethernet protocol stack — think motor-drive fieldbus gateway or a multi-axis motion controller — without needing an external communications processor.
Memory map and field-update strategy
With 512 KB Flash and 16 KB EEPROM, the LPC54606J512ET100E supports a single firmware image plus parameter storage. The 200 KB RAM is sized for moderate data buffering — enough for a CANopen object dictionary or a small TCP/IP stack — but not for large frame buffers or high-resolution graphics.
