ARM7 MCU with external bus and industrial temperature range
The NXP LPC2214FBD144/01K is a 16/32-bit microcontroller in the LPC2200 series, clocked at 60 MHz. It carries 256 KB of on-chip Flash and 16 KB of SRAM, with 112 general-purpose I/O lines in a 144-LQFP package (20×20 mm).
The 60 MHz ARM7 core runs control loops and serial communication without a dedicated graphics controller.
256 KB of Flash is a comfortable fit for a bootloader plus a moderate application — think a CANopen node with a few hundred parameters, or a data-logging controller with a file-system driver. That external bus is one of the LPC2214's differentiators — it lets you hang parallel Flash, SRAM, or an FPGA memory-mapped window without a glue-logic CPLD.
The LPC2214 integrates an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, a PWM unit, a watchdog timer, and a power-on reset block. Serial connectivity covers I²C, SPI, Microwire, SSI, SSP, and UART/USART — enough to talk to most common sensors, ADCs, and display modules without external protocol converters. With 112 I/O pins in the 144-LQFP package, you can route a parallel LCD data bus, a bank of pushbuttons and LEDs, and still have spare GPIO for board-level handshaking.
