120 MHz Cortex-M3 with on-chip LCD and Ethernet
The NXP LPC1788FBD208K is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 MCU from the LPC17xx series, clocked at 120 MHz. It packs 512 KB of Flash, 96 KB of SRAM, and 4 KB of EEPROM, with 165 general-purpose I/O lines. The part operates from a single 2.4 V to 3.6 V supply over the -40°C to 85°C industrial temperature range, and is housed in a 208-pin LQFP (28×28 mm) surface-mount package. The 8-channel 12-bit ADC and single 10-bit DAC handle analog feedback from sensors or potentiometers, while the motor control PWM with dead-time insertion drives IGBT or MOSFET stages directly.
For dual-sourcing resilience, pin-compatible siblings in the LPC178x/177x family share the same package footprint and peripheral set, allowing a BOM-level swap without board re-spin.
