At 72 MHz the ARM Cortex-M3 core executes single-cycle multiply and hardware divide, which matters for PID loops, encoder interpolation, and Modbus CRC calculation. The 12-bit ADC samples eight channels sequentially; at this clock rate the conversion time stays under 3 µs per channel, adequate for current-sense feedback in motor drives or pressure-transducer readout in industrial panels.
Supply range 2 V to 3.6 V; internal POR and brown-out detect reset the core on power-up and during supply dips.
