256 KB of Flash leaves room for a USB-DFU bootloader plus a full application image. The 4 KB EEPROM block stores calibration coefficients or configuration tokens without wearing the Flash — useful for metering or sensor-trim data that changes infrequently. 36 KB of SRAM is enough for a USB buffer pool and a modest RTOS heap; if your design queues large Ethernet frames or double-buffers a display, budget external SRAM or trim the stack.
