Shielded 2.2 µH for power rail filtering
The Murata LQH3NPN2R2MJRL is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH3 series, rated 2.2 µH ±20% with a continuous current of 980 mA and a saturation floor of 1.8 A. The 81.6 mOhm max DCR sets the I²R conduction loss — at full rated current the self-heating adds roughly 78 mW, which the 1212 (3030 Metric) footprint dissipates into the board copper without exceeding the 105°C operating ceiling.
Saturation margin and frequency ceiling
The 1.8 A saturation current is nearly double the 980 mA rated current — the inductor holds its inductance within tolerance across the full rated range, and the margin covers transient peaks common in DC-DC converter output stages. The 45 MHz self-resonant frequency sits well above the 1–3 MHz switching frequencies of most point-of-load converters, so the inductor behaves as a pure inductive element in-band.
Active lifecycle and sourcing posture
Marked as Active on the manufacturer's lifecycle record — no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window.
