1 µH wirewound inductor for automotive power and signal filtering
The Murata LQH32NZ1R0K23L is a drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, rated 1 µH ±10% with a 445 mA current rating and 500 mOhm max DCR.
Parametric fit for DC-DC input and output filtering
The 445 mA current rating at 1 µH is the saturation-limited continuous current — the inductor's core does not saturate until the current exceeds this figure, so the inductance holds within tolerance across the full load range of a downstream regulator drawing up to 400 mA. 500 mOhm max DCR sets the I²R conduction loss: at 445 mA the copper loss is roughly 99 mW, which the 1210 body dissipates without exceeding the 105°C temperature ceiling in still air. Self-resonant frequency at 100 MHz means the inductor behaves as an inductor up to that frequency — above 100 MHz the parasitic capacitance dominates and the impedance rolls off, so this part is suited for switching regulators switching below 10 MHz where the fundamental and first few harmonics stay well below SRF. Q factor of 20 at 1 MHz indicates moderate energy storage efficiency at that frequency — adequate for power filtering but not optimised for high-Q resonant tank circuits.
