330 µH at 50 mA — AEC-Q200 qualified
The Murata LQH32NH331J23L is a drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, rated 330 µH ±5% at 1 MHz. The 50 mA current rating and 13.2 Ω max DCR define the DC bias limit — above 50 mA the inductance rolls off as the ferrite core saturates, and the DCR drop at full current is 660 mV, which must be budgeted in the supply rail.
Self-resonant frequency and Q factor
The self-resonant frequency is 5 MHz — above this the inductor behaves capacitively. The Q factor is 50 at 1 MHz, typical for a ferrite-core wirewound at this inductance. For filtering or DC-DC output stages, keep the switching frequency below 1 MHz to stay in the inductive region and avoid Q-peak ripple amplification. Unshielded construction means the magnetic field extends beyond the component body. In a dense layout, adjacent traces or components within 2–3 mm may couple noise; maintain clearance or use a shielded variant if crosstalk is a concern.
Package and board-fit
The nonstandard case is the standard 1210 outline — no special pad geometry beyond the datasheet land pattern. Tape-and-reel packaging supports automated pick-and-place.
