2.2 µH drum-core inductor for power and signal filtering
The Murata LQH32DN2R2M53L is a 2.2 µH unshielded wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, built on a ferrite drum core. It carries a DC current rating of 790 mA and a saturation current of 790 mA, so the inductance holds up to the full rated load without rolling off. With a maximum DCR of 117 mOhm, the I²R loss at 790 mA is about 73 mW — well within the 105°C temperature ceiling for most board-level designs. The self-resonant frequency of 64 MHz means it behaves as an inductor up into the VHF band, suitable for DC-DC converter output filters or RF bias-T applications.
The unshielded construction means the magnetic field radiates — keep sensitive traces or low-impedance loops at least a few millimeters away to avoid coupling. Supplied on tape and reel (cut tape available), compatible with standard pick-and-place.
