10 µH wirewound for power rail filtering
The Murata LQH32DN100K23L is a 10 µH unshielded drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, rated for 300 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 572mOhm. The 26 MHz self-resonant frequency places it well above typical switching regulator ripple frequencies, so the inductor behaves as a pure inductive element in the passband of a 1–2 MHz buck converter.
Current rating and DCR trade-off
The 300 mA current rating is the DC bias current at which the inductance typically drops by 10% — the actual saturation current is higher, but for a power rail filter the usable current is this figure. The 572mOhm DCR at 25°C produces an I²R loss of about 51 mW at full rated current, which is within the thermal budget of the 1210 body in still air. The ferrite core material maintains inductance stability across this range, though DCR increases roughly 0.4% per °C above 25°C.
