1 µH, 800 mA, 90 mOhm DCR — LQH32CH1R0M23L
The Murata LQH32CH1R0M23L is a drum core wirewound inductor from the LQH32 series, unshielded, with a ferrite core. Its 1 µH inductance at 1 MHz test frequency and 800 mA current rating make it a fit for DC-DC converter output filtering and power rail smoothing in space-constrained surface-mount designs. The 90 mOhm DC resistance (DCR) sets the I²R conduction loss — at 800 mA the self-heating is roughly 58 mW, which stays within the 85°C ambient ceiling without forced airflow.
1210 footprint, 2.2 mm seated height
The surface-mount footprint is compatible with standard pick-and-place equipment and reflow profiles for ferrite-core wirewound inductors. The self-resonant frequency of 96 MHz is well above the switching frequencies of typical buck converters (2–5 MHz), so the inductor behaves as a pure inductive element in that band.
Active production — sourcing posture
The ±20% tolerance is typical for power-grade ferrite inductors — the DC bias characteristic (inductance roll-off with current) is not specified in the basic listing, so a design margin of 20–30% above the nominal inductance is advisable for rail-filtering applications.
