330 nH shielded inductor for automotive power rails
The Murata LQH2MPZR33NGRL is a 330 nH shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, rated for 1.13 A continuous current with a DCR of 180 mOhm max. The 330 nH value targets DC-DC converter output filters and input pi-filters where the switching frequency is above 1 MHz — the self-resonant frequency of 130 MHz keeps the inductor inductive well into the UHF band, so it works as a clean choke for RF stages or as a storage element in a buck converter switching at 2-3 MHz.
AEC-Q200 qualification and temperature envelope
Rated AEC-Q200, this inductor passes the automotive-grade stress tests: thermal shock, moisture resistance, mechanical shock, and vibration per the AEC-Q200 passive-component qualification standard.
Saturation current and DC bias margin
The saturation current (Isat) is 2.2 A, nearly double the 1.13 A rated current. This margin means the inductance holds within ±30% of the nominal 330 nH up to the rated current — the core does not saturate until the load exceeds 2.2 A, so a 1 A DC-DC output sees stable inductance across the full load range. The 180 mOhm DCR at 1.13 A produces 230 mW of I²R loss; in the 0806 package, that heat dissipates through the PCB copper pads, so a 2-oz copper pour under the part keeps the temperature rise below 40°C.
