1.5 µH shielded power inductor for automotive DC-DC stages
The Murata LQH2MPZ1R5NGRL is a drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, shielded to contain magnetic flux and rated for 1.5 µH ±30% at 1 MHz test frequency. Its 790 mA continuous current rating and 1.33 A saturation current (Isat) define the usable load range — the inductor supports a 790 mA DC bias before the core saturates, with the 384 mOhm max DCR setting the copper loss at that current to about 240 mW. The 60 MHz self-resonant frequency places the inductor well above the switching frequencies of typical automotive buck converters (2–4 MHz), so parasitic self-resonance does not affect the passband.
AEC-Q200 qualification and deployment envelope
Rated AEC-Q200, the LQH2MPZ1R5NGRL meets the stress and reliability profile required for automotive-grade passive components — thermal shock, vibration, and solder-heat resistance are screened per the AEC-Q200 qualification standard.
0806 footprint and board-fit note
The shielded construction reduces radiated EMI into adjacent traces and components — relevant for noise-sensitive power rails feeding ADCs or RF stages on the same board.
