3.3 µH ferrite drum core for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH2MCN3R3M02L is a wirewound ferrite-core inductor in the LQH2 series, rated 3.3 µH ±20% at 1 MHz test frequency. The 375 mA DC current rating combined with 780mOhm max DCR means the I²R self-heating at full load is about 110 mW — well within the 85°C ambient ceiling for an 0806 package, but the temperature rise should be checked against the board's local hotspot.
Unshielded construction and 65 MHz SRF
Unshielded drum-core design means the magnetic field extends beyond the component body. In a dense 0806 layout, adjacent traces or another inductor within a few millimetres can pick up coupled energy — the 65 MHz self-resonant frequency sets the upper bound for inductive behaviour; above that the part becomes capacitive and filtering performance drops off. For a filter corner frequency that must stay below a certain pole, the worst-case low inductance drives the design margin.
