1.5 µH, 1.5 A — the DC bias cross-over
The Murata LQH2HPN1R5NJ0L is a shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, rated 1.5 µH at 1 MHz test frequency with a ±30% tolerance. The 1.5 A current rating is the saturation or heating limit — whichever is lower — and the 116 mOhm max DCR sets the I²R loss at full load to about 260 mW, well within the 1008 package's dissipation capability at 85 °C ambient.
Obsolete — sourcing path
Murata has marked the LQH2HPN1R5NJ0L as obsolete. The 1008 footprint and 1.5 µH / 1.5 A target are common enough that a parametric search against the LQH2 family or a competing shielded wirewound in the same package may yield a drop-in alternative, but no pin-to-pin second source is documented here.
Shielded 1008 — board-fit note
The shielding reduces radiated coupling into adjacent traces — relevant when the inductor sits near a sensitive analog front-end or a high-impedance node. Self-resonant frequency is 10 MHz, so the usable inductance rolls off above roughly 3–5 MHz depending on the circuit Q. Operating temperature is -40 °C to 85 °C, a commercial/industrial range that excludes extended automotive under-hood environments.
